Being one of four sisters growing up, my passion for Early Years started young, marvelling at my baby sister and being amazed at what she could do!

This passion grew when I had my own daughters, initially enrolling on a ‘Learning Through Play Course’ to make learning fun with my girls. This led to me gaining a Diploma in Early Years with the Pre-School Learning Alliance, and starting work in a local pre-school in Uppingham. In 1999 a friend and I founded the pre-school here in Gretton and I eventually gained my BA(Hons) and Early Years Teacher status. I have worked in a variety of roles in care and education, including supporting adults with learning difficulties, Teaching Assistant in Primary School, Forest School Leader and Early Years Consultancy work.

I believe that each child is unique and requires the very best start on their journey into life. My aspirations are that each one should feel special, safe, supported and strong.

I have a great love of the outdoor and seek to share the wonder and delight of the natural world with the children. I n my spare time I enjoy cycling, walking, camping and visiting family who live by the sea in Devon.
